What is the NDIS funding scheme?
NDIS stands for National Disability Insurance Scheme. It is a new way to help people under the age of 65 with disabilities get the care and support they need.
It recognises that disability related support is an entitlement, and means you have a choice of service providers in an open market – it gives you more choice and control.
NDIS also provides families and carers with the information they require about services to support people with disabilities.
